My goodness the past 5 days flew by.. Like a whirlwind. The PicoAccuardi Girls, unpacked, setup, and immediately hit the floor to service folks with their fibery needs starting on Thursday.
I must say, it sure was a different perspective this year around. As a vendor helper... Shopping was not the only priority... We spent many hours helping, answering questions, re-stocking, and meeting new and existing customers.
Somehow I managed to do some damage... Not that this would surprise you dear readers - ha ha... I took a few brakes through out the week and power shopped:)
Enjoy the collage from my fabulous fibery experience - This year they allowed cameras - Woohoo!

Hope many of you out in the San Francisco Bay Area got out to Santa Clara. There were sooooo many magnificent things to see and buy, and experience. I tried to cover as much ground as possible. I somehow think that I may have missed about 50% of the market. Among these were Miss Purl:( Oh well, there is always Sock Summit. I need to start saving pronto:)
I went, saw, touched, smelled, heard, and almost tasted the fibery fumes all around me. I knit, knit, knit, spun on my wheel and brand new spindle. I ran into many of my fiber friends and had a wonderful time catching up with them. How delightful:)
I made some new dangerous discoveries...
1) RedFish Dyeworks... Amazing colorwork Swoon!

Double Swoon!

Knitfacts, Soft delicious fiber....

and KCL Woods - I'm in love! Next on the list from this vendor is a convertable Spindle -yes!

All in all, it was a magnificent weekend. To top things off, a bunch of us met at A Verb for Keeping Warm this afternoon to knit a little more and then take in some lunch at Tacubaya. Wow --if you have a chance to visit Verb... Go there. The Mexican food is out of this world!
Not to mention the Micheladas:)
