I was just over visiting with Peaknit one of my all time favorite blogs.... She is so talented go see -Super cool Noro socks and gorgeous handspun yarn!
I saw her post today and thought to myself---Hey I have something to share too.... I should do a TGIF post. So in the spirit of sharing...
Let me tell you about Liesl my latest FO!
She is simple yet luxurious. Soft, lacy and warm. Perfect for the constant variable weather her in S.F. Knitting her was a CakeWalk: soft cushy beautiful Sundara ASM in Wild Blueberries. Simple pattern on pretty large needles - 10 1/2s. My kind of project for sure! Great for in between sock projects or more complicated items. It converts really easy from swing jacket to cardi It gave me a great excuse to re-visit Britax Fibers - love that place! I could keep gushing –but I will stop for now.
Liesl has not been blocked yet. However, because I was so jazzed last night to have completed her in a short week.
I decided to sew on those buttons and wear her proudlyJ
Off to work now. Question should I block her or not?
What say you?

So so pretty! And Liesl looks beautiful on you. I don't think you need to block her--she looks great as is. I've had this pattern in my queue for a while now, and I think it might be the next one on my list!

I wouldn't block it now, unless you aren't liking the stitches. It's gorgeous!

She's so pretty! I was considering doing mine out of my ASM, but I only have 3 skeins & knew it wouldn't be enough. :) I'm almost done with mine, though, out of pink Cascade Pima Silk... I love her. :D I just started the 2nd sleeve, and I"m going button shopping for my FLS on Sunday, so I'll have two sweaters to shop for now. :D
